Dr. Pourmorady was professional, attentive, kind, and yes - I would go to him again without hesitation as my GI physician. The next time, however, that I need a colonoscopy, I will request the prep process not to be the 2 bottles of pills (12 each) with 16 oz glasses of water with each pill plus one glass at the end of each dose. It was a very difficult and uncomfortable process for me that took 6 hours to complete the first dosage of pills and water and 4 hours for the 2nd (without being able to complete the process), requiring me to awake at 3:00 am to be able to complete the 12 bills by 7 am, 4 hours before my procedure, as required. I much prefer the other prep method that I have used in several prior colonoscopy procedures. After my first dose, I called Dr. Pourmorady at 9:30 pm because of my distress, nausia and discomfort, and he was responsive immediately, exceptionally helpful, kind, and reassuring. His bed-side manner is superlative, as is his medical judgement. I am grateful to Dr. Pourmorady, the anesthesiologist, and all the nurses and staff who attended me before, during, and after the procedure. Please thank them all for me. John Rosove

I was looking for a new Gi Doctor. Dr. Pourmorady was recommended. I couldn't be happier. Dr. addressed new issues with my digestive tract that had not been addressed in the past. Even though I was 18 minutes for my first appointment with the Dr. he took his time with me, answered all my questions, asked me several questions, etc. on a scale of 1 to 10 thus first time around he gets a score of 10 from me.

Dr Pourmorady is the best in his field as far as I am concerned. I had a problem for over 2 decades and went to other doctors over the years. No one could help me. Dr. Pourmorady is amazing. He performed an endoscopy on me recently. I had no side effects at all. . Several years ago I had an endoscopy with a different doctor and my throat and insides were soar for nearly a week making it difficult to eat. I have none of those issues this time after Dr. Pourmorady performed an endoscopy on me. He was also very thorough and really listens to you when you have questions and concerns.

My visit with Dr. Pourmorady yesterday was good. I was however not happy when the Doctor requested me to have Labwork done at Dr. Kurtz office after my visit with him there. The office did my bloodwork there before I left however when I went to check out Dr Kurtz front office girl said I had to pay a $10.00 copay & I would be charged an office visit. I was very mad because I had just paid my co-pay for my visit with Dr. Pourmorady. I don't feel I should have paid a second co-pay. Otherwise my visit with Dr. Pourmorady was good.

I was throughly impressed and thankful for the wonderful opportunity that they arranged for me to have my procedure done so soon and so close! Doctor Pourmorady and his staff are terrific! I can’t thank them enough!

I referred my mom to Dr Jonathan Pourmorady as she is having pain on her stomach. My mom is refusing medical procedure (MRI, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy). Dr Jonathan Pourmorady is very kind, compassionate and patiently explained the benefit of doing it. He assured her that everything will be okay. My mom had a change of heart and did it. The result gave her peaceful mind and make her a happy patient.

Dr. Jonathan Pourmorady is a good listener and very professional. On my first visit with him and describing some of my medical history, he commented that it must be really hard that I was dealing with a lot especially when he saw the list of medications that I'm taking on a daily basis. Then he said, let’s talk about how I can help you, and then he introduced a new medication. Unfortunately, the medicine is another meds that I need to take in addition with what I'm already taking. It was a good decision as I'm feeling better after taking it. I'm not 100% healthy but to get a relief on something that bothers you everyday, I'm glad that I took his advice. Dr Pourmorady was incredibly thorough and personable. Probably the first doctor I have had to give me the sound advice of finding a cardiologist. He took the time to listen carefully to my heart and detected a heart murmur. He took the time to evaluate me and set me up with a primary care doctor visit. Another task long overdue. All these as precautions prior to a routine surgical procedure. Great doctor!
